Your mix can be any length you'd like - there are no restrictions at this time. To download tracks from the Proton labels you’re signed to, ask your label manager to be added to their promo pool.Īfter collecting the tracks you can play in your mix, you can now start working on the mix itself! You can make your mix however you like, in Ableton, live on the decks, etc. NOTE: Your Track Stack allows you to download all your own tracks, including any remixes of your own songs. If you’ve released music on a Proton label, then you can feature that label in your mixes. If you can get a handful of your favorite playlists to start, making up for the rest with some manual labor shouldn't be too hard.During the beta, you can play any track from a Proton label that you’re signed to as an artist + any labels that have added you to their Proton promo pool. It won't cover everything, but if you're willing to sign up for multiple services, getting 2,000 songs or so from Spotify to Apple Music or YouTube Music shouldn't be impossible - especially if you can take advantage of iOS-exclusive apps like SongShift on a friend's device. If you want to avoid costs and save some time, you could combine the caps of all the various transfer platforms online to get the bulk of your collection over.
After all, do you really need YouTube Music thinking you're all about LMFAO in 2022? Others might find a fresh start as a great way to teach their new streaming service about their current taste in music.
For some people, that might sound like a tedious task, a Saturday afternoon they'd rather spend with loved ones rather than hunched over a laptop. As far as I can tell, the only completely free option is to move over your library manually, forgoing these services altogether.
